Elan driver reinstalled after I updated the driver on the HID-compliant Mouse driver (?)Ģ. The ELAN driver did not reinstall itself but the touchpad worked exactly the same as before I uninstalled the ELAN driver. I restarted it, and there was only the HID-compliant Mouse driver left under Mice and Other Pointing Devices It prompted me to restart the computer to apply changes. I tried uninstalling only the ELAN driver.
